Housing Industry Day

To kick off Paint — Finishing & Facade 2007, the second Housing Industry Day will be held at the Cologne exhibition centre on 18th April 2007. This event, which made its debut at the leading trade fair for the finishing sector in 2005, will be an important highlight for the residential and estate agency sector. The Housing Industry Day in the Congress Centre North at Koelnmesse will feature an exciting programme that complements the exhibits at the trade fair stands. The exhibitors have been asked to get ready for a higher number of residential and estate agency representatives on this day, and to present themselves as solutions-oriented technology partners. The organisers of Paint — Finishing & Facade anticipate that Housing Industry Day will set new standards and show the German housing industry innovations in painting, tiling and plastering that come in response to current challenges in the real estate sector. In 2007, topic areas at the Housing Industry Day include “Energy-focused renovations” and “Two aspects of sustainable construction: Algae and fungi on facades”. A subsequent constructive panel discussion will address these issues in greater depth. The patron of the Housing Industry Day is the Federal Association of Independent Real Estate and Housing Companies (BFW).
